Bass Fishing BC was started by Cameron Fraser to address what he saw as a major need. While attempting to research and find
good solid information on bass fishing in British Columbia, Cameron found that such information was practically non-existant. The
goal originally was to create a site with current, reliable information. From this simple beginning, the site continues to grow with
new information and features being continually added.
Branching off of the original vision, the idea for Cameron's Bass
Fishing Forum was born as a way to bring together other bass anglers and to generate some help in populating Bass Fishing BC with
the best information possible. Cameron couldn't have foreseen the tremendous popularity the forum would gain very quickly within the
bass fishing community. The forum has become a meeting place for bass anglers throughout British Columbia and has helped to get anglers
talking and helping each other enjoy our great bass fishery.
Cameron is a Financial Planner by trade, and holds the Certified
Financial Planner designation (CFP), the Financial Management Advisor designation (FMA), and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities
Institute (FCSI). He has over 10 years experience in the financial industry. He lives in the East Kootenays with his wife Susan and
has five children - Zac, Alex, Aydan, Ben, and Emma.
In addition to this, Cameron is an aspiring tournament fisherman and has
written several articles on bass fishing topics. Cameron has been featured on a nationally televised special on bass fishing
in BC. The plan is to continue pursuing these activities to help introduce new anglers, both adults and children alike, to the
great bass fishing available in BC.
